SHIFT MANDATE & PHILOSOPHY

Shift is dedicated to the development of new and creative forms of communication, including the collaboration between art forms. Using theatre and performance training, we are able to offer methods that will enhance the soft skills needed in corporate, personal and artistic endeavours.

Our underlying philosophy is that engaging in a selection of exercises and activities will stimulate the creative process of each individual. This, in turn, will bring a more creative approach to a person’s global life.

We offer the opportunity to develop a further awareness of the physical, intellectual, emotional and imaginative self through the transformative aspects of an actor’s training. In this process, enlivening the imagination as well as developing a greater sense of play and confidence in making bolder choices.

Through our services and programs, we deliver applicable and sustainable tools to encourage the shift where the breadth of imagined potential can be realized.
